Our 42 Series 4K Network Video Recorders allow up to 8 IP cameras to display video and save data. These NVR units can reliably run non-stop, recording all day with complete scheduled automation and allow secure remote connections for on-the-go security. The 4208E NVR supports up to 8 IP camera channels with audio in both H.264 and H.265 video encoding. While intended for use with GW cameras, the 4208e supports ONVIF 2.6 and can connect to any cameras that utilize ONVIF. The NVR can hold 2 SATA hard disks up to 10 terabytes each and can record 12-megapixel or lower resolutions. Menu options are extensive and allow significant levels of customization such as multiple users, email alerts, motion detection/recording and scheduled tasks. Camera records can be played back and backed up both directly at the NVR and at a remote computer. Local computer connections to the NVR do not require any special program and can be done by any common web browser, while remote computer connections are managed through the CMS3000 software and mobile device connections are handled by Real view Pro, both of which are free to use and always ad-free. Additionally, the NVR will be bound to the registered mobile app account for added security. With the exception of the p2p network ID for remote connections, the 4208e does not utilize any other backdoors to maintain the highest security possible.
